Permanent Full-time, based at Macquarie Park with WFH options

Catholic Healthcare has a new Residential Aged Care Home in the early stages of construction in Kincumber. We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our in-house Building Services & Property Development team leading a range of projects including new builds and refurbishments. In this client-side role, you will manage internal and external stakeholders expectations across multiple projects including the design and delivery of other major capital works projects.

You will assist with the delivery of the organisation’s strategic property development plan, including new & existing Residential Aged Care, Retirement and Community Services sites. This diverse all-round role includes all aspects of project management from design management through to commissioning integration.

Your days will include;

Managing allocated projects within budget and preparation of project cashflow projections

Ensuring that projects meet handover milestones and acceptable standards

Manage development programs in line with approved strategic plans

Manage major works projects in accordance with the agreed time, cost and quality

Implementation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF & E) selection and purchasing

Manage the commercial processes within the head contract

Maintain effective relationships with Key Stakeholders

The ideal applicant is a solutions focused, self sufficient Senior Project Manager with exceptional communication, time management and planning skills. In addition you will have;

Tertiary qualifications in a property related discipline – Engineering, Construction or Project Management

Building trade qualification and/or experience leading to equivalent expertise

Minimum 10 years post graduate experience working in a project management, construction or property development environment

Experience in preparing project designs, documenting, tendering, delivering, administering, and commissioning major works projects

Experience in developing and managing cost plans and budgets

Experience in working within an aged care, seniors living or hospital environment – desirable

Knowledge of relevant technical and compliance legislation, standards and codes of practice

Ability to provide evidence of Covid 19 Immunisation including booster by 1st June 2022
