Job Description

Due to internal mobility, we are looking for a People Partner to support the Bupa Villages & Aged Care (BVAC) People team in VIC. Reporting to the Head of People, support and enable our General Managers/Care Home Managers and Regional Managers to effectively manage and support their people and providing generalist HR support and advice to our employees.



This role requires you to influence, plan and implement HR projects and initiatives and solve business problems with a focus on the engagement and performance of our people. Support multiple care homes across the VIC region and collaborate with your national People Team virtually. Occasional travel will be required.

Key responsibilities:
Partner with leaders and take accountability for the effective delivery of people strategies.

Support a variety of HR disciplines across leadership capability, operational HR delivery, talent management, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and retention etc.

Manage ER cases end to end including employee grievances, performance and conduct issues, redundancies, bullying and harassment etc.

What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a HR/People business partnering or consulting role.

Experience in interpreting, understanding, and applying awards, enterprise agreements, HR processes and policies across the employee lifecycle, and embedding cyclical HR activities.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to support and challenge as required.

Experience in end-to-end ER case management.

Experience advising and influencing people leaders on process and policy application across the full employee lifecycle.

Someone who can travel to the VIC care homes.

You must be fully vaccinated with Covid and Influenza vaccines to be considered.
