We’re seeking Medical Records Officer to join our Health Information Team at The St Andrews War Memorial Hospital



Remuneration Value: $30.83 – $31.66 p/hour + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Parking

The Role:
You will be responsible for undertaking the various clerical duties including archiving, facilitating requests for patient information and providing access to patient records to internal and external customers. This includes filing and retrieving patient records and maintaining accuracy of patient records. The ideal applicant will present with:

An advanced understanding of medical terminology through experience or Certificate in Medical Terminology

Understanding and ability to work in a highly confidential environment

Sound interpersonal communication and organisational skills, enabling you to liaise with an array of health professionals

Proven ability to work with in a team environment and to deadlines

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Previous Medical Record Department or hospital experience
