Manager, Development – Property

Permanent Full time position based at Macquarie Park

6 additional leave days per year + NFP Salary Packaging

An opportunity for and experienced Manager to lead Catholic Healthcare’s Development Team is now available, reporting to the General Manager Property you will have 2 direct reports.

This role will be responsible for the overall Development management from site assessment and acquisition, feasibility preparation, statutory approvals and design management, through to handover to the Construction team.

You will assist with the development and implementation of the organisation’s strategic property development plan, including new & existing Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living and Community Services sites. Prepare and monitor financial management forecasts (monthly, quarterly and yearly) in relation to development projects and manage expenditure in line with approved Steering Committee and Board proposals/ Business Cases. In addition, you will ensure that all development projects meet handover milestones and acceptable standards regarding operational requirements and signoffs.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills together with the following:

Relevant business or property tertiary qualifications with minimum 5 years post graduate experience in large scale property development

Demonstrated experience in project management, project feasibility study development, project planning

Demonstrated leadership, management and organisation skills

Proactively developed & maintain effective working relationships with internal & external stakeholders

Demonstrated skills in business planning, business case development and financial management

NSW Driver’s licence and Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Ability to provide evidence of Covid19 immunisation including booster by June
