Job Description
Abbott Electrophysiology (EP) is a leader in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia with a product portfolio that covers both capital and consumables. We have a wide range of products to treat both atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and an ongoing commitment to innovation in the treatment of arrhythmias and care of patients. This dynamic role requires the successful applicant to work closely with EP physicians in the treatment of patients with arrhythmias.
Your responsibilities include (and not limited to):
Achieving EP certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to attend and support EP sessions independently
Completing 3D mapping certification through thorough in-house training program to allow you to support 3D mapping cases on your own
Achieving sales targets and increase market share for your assigned territory through building strong relationships and providing high quality clinical service and support
Developing strong relationships with key customers that will assist in growing your business and market share to achieve sales targets
Managing consignment stock
Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs
Assisting with product marketing and launches
Providing market feedback on product and competitor activity
Conducting education/training to hospital staff on products and technology as well as internal stakeholders
Who we’re looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement / business degree or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) essential
Experience in an identical role within EP in a medical devices company or as an EP cardiac technician essential
Good understanding of the industry process and function
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and negotiate with customers and experts
Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
