Cyber Risk Lead Job at The Staffing Group – in Brisbane QLD
The APS6 Cyber Risk Lead is accountable under limited direction to perform complex work to provide oversight over the branches Operational Risk Management Framework to ensure all processes and controls are at an adequate level.
The Cyber Risk Lead will act as Branch liaison for all things risk, providing relationship management and advice to internal and external business areas, 3rd parties, auditors and other executive stakeholders. They will have oversight of incidents and breaches, with focus on facilitating efficient resolution and remediation.

Your responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
Responsible for developing and managing risk indicators, thresholds, incident management practices, ongoing control assessments, risk register maintenance, executive reporting, and dashboards
Accountable for the development of the branch risk management practice, including a risk reporting framework; provide subject matter expert advice for stakeholders at executive, business, and technical levels.
Acquire, maintain, and apply in-depth knowledge of risk operations, third party risk management, KRI, risk tracking and alerting
Partner with divisions and teams to provide support to the Branch
Apply an in-depth knowledge of the development, operation and risk management of the Agency’s cyber security and compliance services and end-to end systems.
Provide oversight of complex incidents and breaches, with a focus on facilitating efficient resolution and remediation.
Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the cyber security risk management lifecycle is appropriately managed; leading consistent coordination of cyber security compliance activities and risk strategy framework and policy development.
Liaise and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including third parties, auditors and other executive stakeholders, providing subject matter expert advice for all things risk.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in Risk Management or similar roles
Ability to obtain and maintain national police check
Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency
